Update May 24
Welcome back to the Gym, we will re-open on May 26 – Can’t wait to see you on Tuesday!
Update May 17
I just wanted to touch base with you, to let you know that we are planning to reopen as soon as the governmental entities allow. As of today, that appears to be Tuesday May 26th.
As you know we have been closed for 8-weeks. We have been very busy every day deep cleaning, sanitizing, repairing, painting and getting organized to be even better than before. Unfortunately, the expenses didn’t stop, making things tough for a small business like us. We did not charge monthly withdrawals during that time, however I was contacted by many members that wanted to make sure they had a gym to come back to and asked how they could help. If you have an automatic withdrawal, you can pay separately for the two months. If you paid for a year in advance, you can extend your membership before it is due. If you can do neither of these things, we understand, and we will just be happy to see you back in the gym.
When you return we will have a new set of rules and guidelines that will make for a safe workout environment.
Let’s be responsible and keep each other safe to help ensure our continued freedoms and health. Please don’t come to the gym if you aren’t feeling well and let us know if you become sick after your workout.
James, Jim, Sam, David, and I can’t wait to see you. Please stay healthy and we hope to see you soon!
Many of you are wondering about your membership status at Ford’s Gym. I just want to let you know that all memberships have been placed on hold. I do not plan to withdraw monthly membership dues again until we are able to safely re-open. Anyone who paid in full for a membership will have the time added to end of their current membership expiration date.
I am committed to doing the right thing for our members and employees during this time. I can’t wait to reopen our doors.
You are welcome to email me at email@example.com with any questions.
Stay healthy, Ford Sheridan

What We Are About
Ford’s Gym gained national attention in the May 2008 issue of Men’s Fitness when they published an article about Old-School Gyms written by Chris Conley.
We know that everyone exercises for different reasons — for better athletic performance, to gain muscle, to lose weight, or simply to improve everyday functional strength. Whatever your reason, we can help you reach your goals.
We have cardio and circuit-training equipment. We also have a full selection of free-weights and strongman training implements, like you see on ESPN’s World’s Strongest Man Competitions.
If you’re ready for something different we offer boxing classes. You can take the classes for fun, to challenge yourself, or to get more serious in the sport if you decide to. Either way we have a wonderful new facility to train in.
We also offer computerized body composition analysis along with personal training. Whether you need help getting started, want faster results, or want a change-up from your regular routine, we can help you.
To round out the package of course we have locker & shower room facilities as well as tanning.
